Madeline Island Book Club will host a zoom meeting with the New York Times bestselling author, William Kent Krueger, on Tuesday, July 21 at 7:00 p.m.
Krueger was originally scheduled to come to Madeline Island until the events of the past months occurred. He will be zooming from a Northern Minnesota location and discussing his book, Iron Lake, the first novel in his series featuring Cork O’Connor. This colorful detective, half Irish and Ojibwe, investigates murders in the small town where he was formerly sheriff. The author’s deft eye for the details of everyday life bring the town and is peculiar problems to vivid life.
