LPC Online Art Auction is now open to view; Bidding starts July 1

The LaPointe Center for the Arts provides grants to local artists, allowing artists and groups to develop and grow as well as bring art to the Madeline Island and the Chequamegon Bay area. We’ve been around over 30 years and have touched so many who have been inspired by the beauty of the Apostle Islands.

Last year, we canceled our Annual Wine Tasting because of COVID and had to find new avenues to support all of our local artists. This year, you can support, engage and fund island art and artists by participating in our LPC Online Art Auction. Click the link below to preview the pieces. Then, on July 1, let the bidding begin.

Bidding will end July 15 and winners will be contacted to make arrangements for delivery or pickup.

It’s not often that you get to support a great cause and local Island artists who are inspired by the area we all love best, Madeline Island and Lake Superior. Thank you for all you do to support Island arts!

Below are some of the pieces that are up for auction:

Lagoon in the Fall, Inkjet digital print, Richard Anderson
Enhanced with European & Swarovski Crystals, Phyllis Rieman
Cotton linen flannel hand-woven rug, Ava Love
