The Gallery will be opening its doors on May 22, 2024 with seven shows featuring a wide range of art and sales available to patrons from the art exhibits as well as the ongoing “Back Door” gallery. As in the past, new and familiar artists will be featured as well as all island artists being encouraged to show their work at the annual “Winter Works” and “Anything Goes” shows.
The first exhibit of the season will be the La Pointe Elementary School Show. The artwork will reflect the techniques, style and materials of well-known artists that the students study during the year through the support of local artists. The Indigenous Show will end the season, leading up to the annual Treaty Day on Madeline Island.
