Community Art Opportunity #1 – The History of Botanical Art and Illustration
We have chosen Mary La Patka, an award-winning botanical artist, for the 2024 Artist In Residence program on Madeline Island. Interaction with our community is an important aspect of our program. The first program is The History of Botanical Art and Illustration.
Mary La Patka will share the history, images, and evolution of artistic techniques. Her presentation will be at The LaPointe Center for the Arts Gallery on Saturday, October 5 from
2:00 – 3:00 P.M.
