The La Pointe Center Art Guild and Gallery has been an important part of establishing an arts community on the island. The Guild and Gallery endeavors to bring beauty and culture to Madeline Island by promoting, exhibiting, educating, and selling the work of artists.
Since 1991, the gallery has provided a space to new, emerging, and established artists from the Island, the Chequamegon Bay, and beyond. Exhibits are held from early spring to late fall.
The “Front Gallery” features artists’ exhibits which rotate through the season. As part of the exhibits, an “Artist Reception” is held for each show.
The “Back Door Gallery” features a permanent collection of art for sale. Artisans of all media are encouraged to submit their work for consideration for future exhibitions.
