Positivity Children's Theatre Performance

Positivity Children’s Theatre 2024 Season

January 6, 2024

Positivity Children’s Positivity Children’s Theatre is excited to announce that the 2024 program will begin Monday, July 29th and run through Sunday August 11th. Exact times for registration, rehearsals, and shows will be announced in the spring along with the unveiling of the title of production. We are certain this will be another successful year.

2023’s Positivity Children’s Theatre presented a play adaptation written by Howard Dallin, “Vasylyna, a Ukrainian Folktale. The idea for Julie Stryker to produce this particular story came from Ruth Ann Teisberg. Ruth would frequently tell the story of Vasalisa in her classroom. It is a story with versions from many cultures. Julie presented the idea to Howard and he had it written in one month. There were 12 children that participated in the production.

Thanks to a grant received from the Micahel and Grutzner Funds (Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation – DSACF), the program was able to be free of charge for all kids. Lara Andary, Sheri Milburn, John Erste, Kassidy Curtis and Ludlow North all assisted in the production. Three successful performances were held at the Nelson Rec Center on the LPC Stagemobile.
