LPC at Wisconsin Arts Day in Madison

LPC Board Members Terrie Myers and Judy Sebranek, and Positivity Children’s Theatre Director Julie Stryker-North met with Sen. Janet Bewley on March 9 for Arts Day in Madison, hosted by the Wisconsin Arts Board and Arts Wisconsin.

During the important 2017-2019 state budget season, Arts Wisconsin will be advocating with the Wisconsin State Legislature to create this program as a 21st century strategy to invest in creative people, institutions, businesses, and communities throughout the state. On Arts Day and over the next few months, they will help us tell our stories to decision-makers, to demonstrate the power, impact, and benefits of the arts and creative development throughout Wisconsin.

Way to represent Madeline Island and La Pointe Center for the Arts!
